What are the Steps of Breast Augmentation?

Making an Incision: A small incision is made in one of three areas: beneath the breast, around the areola, or under the armpit.

Closing the Incisions: The incisions are closed using fine sutures, and bandages are applied to protect the area.

Pre- and Post-Procedure Precautions

After the Procedure:

Wear a medical support bra for 4-6 weeks to help reduce swelling and provide support.

Avoid strenuous physical activities or heavy lifting for six weeks.

Keep the incisions clean and dry, and follow your doctor’s instructions regarding the use of prescribed ointments.
